You can’t guarantee the outcome, but you can guarantee your work
The final destination is not in your hands, but you control how hard you work for your dreams.
Here is how I came to this realization.
After acquiring my MBA, I got a corporate job.
I joined a major tech company in North Austin.
There were things I had to learn, and this was the best environment to prepare me for my next step.
There, I met different types of people.
Some had been there for 20+ years.
Some moved quickly into important roles.
While others coasted on the same chair.
Neither of those options seemed right for me.
I don’t want a life with:
Scheduled vacations.
Nine-to-five hours.
Corporate rules.
But I needed to learn.
The operations of a big business.
Running finances and online marketing.
Everything that could help me in my own company.
Four years later.
My experience grew, my confidence increased, and I was determined to be a full-time entrepreneur.
So, I started planning to quit.
But before I could jump.
I got pushed. I lost my job.
Life had a different plan for me.
My learning here:
Define your dream.
Put one foot in front of the other.
You’ll end up right where you are supposed to be.
