Why are you building a company?

Is it self-expression? Is it impact? 

Recognition? A gazillion dollar exit?

Each of us has a different reason. 

Some want to make an impact. 

Some are driven by money.

Others, like me, see it as a way of self-expression.

‍

Before you take the leap, ask yourself:

→ How much do you really want to do this? More than anything else?

→ Are you doing this for yourself or for others?

→ Do you want to express your creativity? How can you turn your creativity into sales?

→ Does this venture look more like a company or a hobby?

→ Do you like the idea of being a CEO?

→ What makes you think you will succeed where others didn’t?

There's no wrong answer, but there are some better than others.

Just be honest with yourself.

Knowing your motivations will guide your decisions and help you on your most difficult moments.
