Founders, stop approaching investors like superheroes 🦸‍♂️

One of the biggest mindset traps I see:

Founders approach investors as if they were 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘰𝘳𝘴.

When you do that, 3 things happen:

▶️ Your pitch becomes needy 

▶️ Every “no” feels like a judgment of your worth and a risk to your own future

▶️ You contort your vision to match what you think they want

Here’s the reframe that changes everything 👇

Don’t approach investors to rescue your company.

Approach them to 𝘤𝘰-𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘢 company and a story they want to be part of.

1️⃣ Show the work you’ve already done without them

2️⃣ Make it clear you’re choosing who you work with, not begging anyone to say yes

3️⃣ This is happening with or without you, and it’is not an arrogant message that needs to be said but an inner one that needs to be believed and embodied.

This way, you protect your mental health, make yourself more investable, and increase your odds of success regardless of circumstances..
