Nothing hits harder than waking up unemployed.

Especially after investing time in education and building experience.

This might have happened to you as well.

And it’s not easy to deal with it.

After getting fired, it took me several days to understand my emotions and get back on my feet.

And I had an important realization:

This was a turning point in my life.

I had never been in a situation before where I was able to make my own schedule.

👉 Nobody required anything from me.

👉 I was able to decide when and where I go.

👉 I could meet up with my friends in the middle of the day.

I felt alive.

I felt happier.

I craved independence and freedom.

A corporate job was not an option anymore.

I wanted to craft something with my own hands.

I wanted to create my own freedom.

I wanted to build a business.

People say:

“You are never completely ready.”

“You never know when the time is right.”

Perhaps I wasn’t ready.

But I knew the time was right.

I had no checklist to follow.

I just followed my heart.

Getting fired was my turning point.

It was my type of redirection.

It pushed me on the right path.

I just had to take the risk.

This “lit the fire” for Plushkies, my first company.
