My favorite events in 2025

I don’t go to some conferences for the panels anymore. I go for the people I knew would be there.

This is why I have a particular list of favorite events that I attend every year.

The Multicoin Capital Summit, Sigma Squared Society Conference, and a couple of others.

It’s a special kind of joy when:

👉you bump into friends you expected to see

👉you run into appreciated acquaintances

👉you walk away with new friendships you didn’t plan for

And here are two of my favourite 2025 moments from these events.

1️⃣ The first one is meeting Dr. Kanth Miriyala, Ph.D.

Neither of us knew the other would be there.It was a “somewhat”  surprise since we first met on the same event last year. I love meeting and talking to Dr. Kanth because we both look at entrepreneurship from the same angle. The entrepreneur’s one.It’s not just about the companies.

It’s about the people building the companies.Investors analyze the founders as a critical success factor. We can both see beyond the founder figure as a “resource”. This time, we talked about:

👉 how lonely the founder journey can be

👉 how much entrepreneurs actually need support + companionship...

👉 ... and our hope to create more ways to be there for founders. How can we be there not just for their business journey but for their emotional one as well?That conversation felt less like “networking” and more like the joy of two people sharing the same passion and opening up opportunities for future collaboration.

2️⃣ The second one is a long-term bet on a focused founder.

When I think of my highlights from 2025, I also think of a dear friend I invested in. He’s a dedicated founder who has overcome as many challenges as anyone else I know. He is Parul Gujral, CEO of Snowball Money.

I hope 2026 will be a great year for him and for his company. He really deserves it.
