Entrepreneurs make requests

When you’re just starting out, you’re most likely a nobody.

No one knows who you are.

No one knows what you do.

No one knows the potential behind your vision.

So, it’s up to you to make them see it.

To get people on board with your product.

I think Tim Ferris puts it out nicely.

“You throw a lot against the wall to find your path.

Take risks and say “yes” to new experiments.

You test different things to see what sticks.”

Entrepreneurs make requests.

They make suggestions.

They make proposals.

Whatever is needed to move our plans forward.

Later, after some successes, things will turn around, and you will be the one pitched. You will have to protect your time and energy and say “no” to what doesn’t align. But until then, it’s offense mode.

How about you? Are you currently in offense mode?

If so, double down on outreach this week. Send out that proposal, request that meeting, and share your pitch.
